Local Dog Marries Pie 

Today at the new downtown bakery, an astounding wedding took place. "woof woof!" the groom said as he waited for his lovely bride. "It was love at first sight!" claims the bakery owner, "I was so touched, I let him have the pie half-price."

A very sad thing happened today, just after the wedding of dog and pie. The happy couple had just been wished a happy honeymoon and were being driven away in a limo. later in the evening, crunching noises could be heard from the newlyweds'  honeymoon suite, were the two eating dinner? Hardly, officials burst into the room to discover the half-eaten pie-wife and the groom with crumbs on his muzzle. "I never thought the marriage would fall apart, especially so soon!" exclaimed the bakery owner when he heard the news. The groom is now in jail for murder, and the pie is being buried at a special memorial. R.I.P cherry pie.
